INSPIRATION BEHIND OUR LOGO
N’kisi is a grey parrot believed to exhibit advanced English-speaking abilities and other cognitive skills. He reportedly had a vocabulary of around 950 words, which he used in context—often forming complete sentences. He also approximated verb forms to maintain correct tense (such as saying flied when unaware of the past tense flew) and did not rely solely on memorized phrases to express his thoughts.
N’kisi was also said to recognize photographic images, name objects (within his vocabulary) depicted in photos, and invent new terms for unfamiliar items by combining known words. However, there is ongoing debate over whether parrots are truly capable of using language meaningfully or merely mimic human speech. Some scientific studies—most notably those conducted over a 30-year period by Irene Pepperberg with a grey parrot named Alex—have suggested that parrots can use words purposefully in linguistic tasks. These findings have been featured in numerous media reports and continue to fuel interest in avian intelligence.

An astute MBA graduate with a specialization in Finance and Marketing from Knowledge Business School and is a proud alumnus of PSG College of Technology.
He has gained internship and work experience with several global companies, including NLC India Ltd., Ninjacart, JSW Steels Pvt. Ltd., Innovalus Technologies, the Confederation of Indian Industry, City Union Bank, and Amazon India. Recently, he was awarded the Title Winner in the Tamil Nadu Startup Award – 2023.
In 2020, he founded the N’kisi Institute of Training, and now rebranded as N’kisi Global Consulting which focuses on developing students’ skill sets, talents, and emotional intelligence to help them choose the right career path. He has interacted with over 12,000+ individuals through high-engagement workshops, consulting interventions, and capability-building programs. throughout India.
